John is the Managing Director of Dexis and an Adjunct Professor at Deakin University. He was formerly the Managing Director of the iedex group pf companies before which he was an Associate Professor of Management at Deakin University and inaugural Director of Deakin’s MBA Program.

John specialises in the development of transformational strategy – setting organisations on a new path – and aligning organisational structure and systems, capability profiles and organisational culture with new strategic goals. He has a long-standing interest in industry reform, organisational transformation and the leadership attributes required to guide organisations through challenging change.

With extensive experience as senior Executive in both the public and private sectors, Lionel has an established record of strategic leadership and organisational development in diverse and complex service environments.

He specialises in business and workforce planning and in building credible performance measurement mechanisms for organisations.

Prior to his association with iedex as a principal consultant, Lionel was an Executive director at the Australian Crime Commission and a senior corporate director in Australian universities.
